Revised Socionext Group CSR Procurement Guidelines
We have revised the Socionext Group CSR Procurement Guidelines.
The Guidelines consist of three main sections; "Socionext Group Basic Philosophy and CSR Policy", "Various Policies Aligned with the Socionext Group CSR Policy" and "Socionext Group Supplier Guidelines".
We first established the CSR Procurement Guidelines in July 2023 and have since promoted business activities that take into consideration social responsibility, environmental protection, and corporate ethics together with our suppliers.
In response to changes in our business environment, international standards, and societal expectations, we have added new items, including biodiversity conservation, avoidance of conflicts of interest, and anti-corruption and anti-bribery measures. Accordingly, we have revised the Guidelines and reissued them as the "Socionext Group CSR Procurement Guidelines, Second Edition."
Going forward, we will continue to promote awareness and implementation of the Guidelines and, through confirmation of compliance status and the conduct of audits, work to identify and mitigate risks throughout our supply chain. By doing so, we aim to further promote business activities that give due consideration to sustainability issues including respect for human rights, climate change, and cybersecurity and to build a resilient and sustainable supply chain.
